The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention / CDC recommends that everyone 6 months and older get a flu vaccine each year — especially people who are at high risk of developing serious complications like pneumonia if they get sick with the flu, including
- Pregnant women
- People who have certain medical conditions including asthma, diabetes, and chronic lung disease
- People 65 years and older
- People who live with or care for others who are high risk of developing serious complications.
To schedule your flu shot:
Call our appointment desk at (920) 749-4000 and schedule a lab appointment for a flu shot. If you have questions about the vaccine, visit the CDC website or speak with the nurse on call.
The current flu vaccine is not a live virus and it provides protection for one year. Protecting ourselves with the flu vaccine is important to the health of our patients and our employees. So get the shot early and be protected.
