Masks Required & Limited Visitors
With the current rise in COVID activity, we would like to continue to keep our patients safe by limiting the number of people in our clinic. We are encouraging that patients come alone whenever possible, but we are currently requesting patients limit to one essential visitor.
No Surprise Billing Act
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, healthcare providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
In certain circumstances, you are also protected from balance billing (sometimes called “surprise billing”). You are protected from balance billing when you get emergency care or are treated by an out-of-network provider at an in-network hospital or ambulatory surgical center. In these cases, you shouldn’t be charged more than your plan’s copayments, coinsurance, and/or deductible.
