Some narcotic (pain) prescriptions are not refillable by phone. In that case, you would need to come to our office to pick up the written prescription. Be sure to call first so that we can have it ready for you.

Please allow 48 hours for us to process your prescription renewal request.

After Hours

To contact your doctor after hours for emergencies, call our regular telephone number at (920) 749-4000Women’s Health Specialists provides a 24-hour emergency answering service. You will speak to the answering service and then the physician on call will be paged. There is always a physician on call to handle emergencies but please limit the calls to those that are medically urgent. In the unlikely event that the physician has not returned your call within 20 minutes, please call again. Please note that we do not refill medications after hours.

Please be prepared to leave a number where you can be reached. Also, be sure that the phone line is kept clear for a call back from the doctor on call. If you have call blocking on your telephone please unblock your phone. The physician cannot call back to a blocked line.

Billing Question

We have addressed many common financial questions on our financial help desk page. You may also call our billing office at (920) 749-4000.

Test Result Questions

During your appointment, your nurse will explain how your test results will be communicated to you. Many times the doctor will review the results and then have the nurse call you with results and explain to you if further testing or treatment needs to be done.

We try to notify you of laboratory results as soon as they are available. If you do not hear from us, we encourage you to call us during regular office hours so that your medical record and results are available to the physician.

We do send you a letter when your pap smear comes back within normal limits. If you do not hear from us within 3 weeks of your appointment, please call our office.

Requesting Medical Records

To request your medical records please download WHS Medical Records Release Form, complete it, and return it to our office. We will provide your records to another healthcare provider as a professional courtesy at no charge. If you need a copy for yourself we do charge a nominal fee of $0.50 per page.
