Women’s Health Specialists proudly joined forces with Appleton North High School’s innovative “MediBridge” program, connecting aspiring healthcare professionals with real-world medical experts. Dr. Sreenarasimhaiah (Dr. Sree), Amanda Wallace, APNP, and Kelly Krause, RN represented our dedicated team at this groundbreaking event, which drew more than 200 students from across the region.
Dr. Sree, who helped sponsor the fair, provided students with hands-on demonstrations of obstetric procedures, showcasing the dynamic nature of women’s healthcare. “A lot of the students that have come by have been really fantastic. They ask such appropriate questions,” noted Dr. Sree, highlighting the engagement and enthusiasm of the next generation of healthcare professionals.
The event, spearheaded by Appleton North senior Olivia Feng through the Appleton Youth Education Initiative, aimed to bridge the gap in healthcare career exploration opportunities for local students. Our WHS team emphasized the diverse career paths available in healthcare, from nursing and nurse practitioners to physician assistants and ultrasound technologists.
“We need people in healthcare,” Dr. Sree explained, underlining the importance of nurturing future talent. “I’m excited about if these kids are going to be in healthcare in the future, I think we’ll be in good hands.”
